Marcus at NoHu Rooftop Bar and Restaurant

In February 2020, JF Social Media took over the social media responsibilities for NoHu Rooftop, a 15,000 square foot rooftop bar and restaurant on the New Jersey waterfront. No social media presence existed so JF Social created new Facebook and Instagram accounts for NoHu Rooftop and transitioned these accounts into Marcus at NoHu Rooftop in August 2020 when celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson took over the operation. Created new NoHu Rooftop Instagram account.
Instagram KPI's in under 7 months with minimal advertising spent during COVID, were as follows:

Results were achieved despite the COVID environment. NoHu Rooftop shut down in March 2020 and did not re-open until June 16, 2020 with only outdoor dining and social distancing requirements.

Created engagement levels substantially higher than industry standard of 1.6%; Average engagement statistics ranged from 5-8%.

Restaurant Reservations
Created 3,800 reservations in the 2 week period after launch.
Generated 18,210 views and 11,510 reservation clicks within only 2 months of creation of Linktree and Instagram accounts.

Influencers
Worked and bartered with 10 influencers, offering room and food and beverage credit; no cash payments. Negotiated and drafted their agreements and content requirements.

SEO Optimization
Updated Instagram and Facebook profiles with new handles, new profile pictures, and significantly updated content and information. Created new SEO optimized Facebook and Open Table pages with new culinary program.

Social Media Monitoring
Monitored accounts and responded to messages 7 days per week 7am-10pm and longer on weekends and holidays. Often times there was increased late night monitoring, especially on weekends as phone lines and email reservation channels were overwhelmed, and capacities were reached.

Photography
JF Social bartered with photographers and videographers to create numerous food and lifestyle photo shoots including 2 separate days of photo, video, and drone shots with celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson.
JF social was on site to coordinate and supervise each day of the shoot. Created substantial amounts of new highly attractive digital content for each new menu item, introduced, and created substantial amounts of lifestyle photography.
